Capcom’s newest trailer for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, included in Wednesday’s Xbox showcase, began how I anticipated. The character, creature and environmental designs are all pulling closely from Japanese mythology, as we have seen in earlier teasers for the sport. There’s some third individual motion harking back to Capcom traditional Onimusha. However then the surprises begin hitting: there are villagers to recruit and deploy in fight, spots on the map to “purge of defilement” to gather assets, zooming the digicam out to constructing defensive buildings, then preventing off waves of enemies…
